1938 Plymouth: "The cheapest car on the lot"

Shouldn't that be $684.99?

I bought a low mileage '37 in 1950 for $75 to get additional passenger space, then sold my mint '34 Plymouth coupe for $100. Drove the '37 through my last three years of college, including a number of summer road trips, all without a hiccup. Traded it in for a great '49 Plymouth after graduating from college. Never had a problem with Pymouths.

When you look at the survival rate, the Plymouths dont do well. There are many many more 1938 Fords than Plymounths still in existance

bg - Perhaps that's because owners drove their Plymouths until nothing was left of them, while the conked out Fords piled up in the barns and junk yards for the restorers to rescue.
