I'd love to stumble across one of those things at an estate or garage sale. I'd give it to my granddaughter.
Posted by John Venlet at January 27, 2014 1:41 PMI am 47 years old, and I would have liked to have that as a kid - and now. Talk about fun!
The waterballoon slingshot I had in college would have made the perfect complement to a squad assault with this gun!
Posted by Mikey NTH at January 27, 2014 8:01 PMI got Big Dick for free. From my father's side.
Posted by Hugh G Rection at January 27, 2014 8:11 PMDid anyone else have the Johnny Eagle Lieutenant when they were a kid? It was a sort of two thirds scale M-14 plastic toy which fired caps and little plastic bullets from spring loaded plastic cartridge cases. Like the Big Dick, it was an artifact of pre-Collapse America.
Posted by Mike James at January 27, 2014 11:00 PMI got a Mattel Snub-nosed 38 revolver for Christmas when I was five ('56), with 'Greenie Stick-em' Caps' to place on the flat ends of the plastic bullets, so they would produce a satisfying 'bang' whenever I pulled the trigger. No little red thing in the barrel.
Every girl should own one. (Yes, I fanned it.)
