I think I can see how Ms. Ali's speech would bother those whose minds are filled with fake piety towards Jihad Islam. Valor, candor and truth are vital cleansers--if you've opted for the dark, crusty vermin corridors of the mind why would you want these? 'Cowardice is the true sin,' as Russian novelist Mikhail Bulgokov put it during the depths of Stalinist terror in the 1930s.
