Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Here's What I Would Have Said at Brandeis

Intelligent, articulate, well-spoken, experienced in that which she speaks of, courageous. There's more but you get the drift.

I can see why certain interest groups want to shut her up.

The motto of Brandeis University is "Truth even unto its innermost parts." When it suits their purpose.

The good thing is now how the spokes shills for CAIR are on the ropes trying to explain how a former Muslim woman is an ISLAMOPHOBE. Any semi-curious reporter only has to ask this question: Why would that be? It isn't a rhetorical question, either. What they prove is that the real Islamophobes are the universities.

Liberalism, where feeling good and righteous in large groups is more important than doing something positive in small groups.

Let's take a look at (ie) this schools "history" of "education" in degreed woman's specific studies, title IX promotion, and "Dear Colleague..." administration.
Who's going to "defend" your ravings NOW...um...ladies(of both gonad designs)? Going to sit around clutching your pearls waiting for FIRE to defend you from CAIR?

If Truth is no longer the highest value, then the highest value is something other than Truth.

@ JWM: Excellent! That "something other" is in the White House.

It's as if they not only learned nothing from the Holocaust, but learned that appeasing genocidal anti-Semites is a great idea.

Progressive theory has no broad appeal without it's appeal to cowardice.

Sad, but edifying.

Who's the back up speaker, Hillary ?

Is Condoleeza Rice still scheduled at Rutgers ?

That's right James, they seek the power of the monopoly on force to do that which they have't the balls to do themselves.

I think I can see how Ms. Ali's speech would bother those whose minds are filled with fake piety towards Jihad Islam. Valor, candor and truth are vital cleansers--if you've opted for the dark, crusty vermin corridors of the mind why would you want these? 'Cowardice is the true sin,' as Russian novelist Mikhail Bulgokov put it during the depths of Stalinist terror in the 1930s.

Remember people, we're living in a country that might be rich in bombs and bombers but poor in courage. Remember: only two publications in the USA printed the Danish Cartoons during that stormy time. Two. Multimillion dollar jets zip around King County during Sea Fair while quiet nuclear subs ping and sift across ocean floors. Even so, this is not a country much in control of its national sphincter. Fight or Flight? We're, as they say, outta here.

Liberals loathe (and fear) Ayaan Ali Hirsi because she tells the truth about Islam from a perspective which they cannot challenge. She's been there, done that, and has the scars to prove it. All the libs can do is try to silence her in order to hide the facts about their Muslim allies. But this brave woman refuses to be quiet. May God bless her and help her to open the ears of those who refuse to hear.
