Contemporary American Classics: East Bound and Down

I miss Jerry Reed. He was a great composer and musician.

First PG movie of my youth. I recall the worst was the middle finger of Sally Field. The Trans-Am raised the hair on my neck when watching this. The epitome of American Muscle Car in its day. "Sum bitch". Gleason we perfect for that role.

You got me laughing, there.

I saw that at the old 'Strand' theater in Roscommon Michigan. That was several months after release; the Strand only had one projector so it really was only one film at a time.*

*Also saw 'Jaws' and 'Murder by Death' there when I was a kid - 'European Vacation' I saw there with my mom and dad and I began to wonder how those two old people were so with it.**

**Afterwards I grew up and understood my parents.
