Comments: $79 billion and 20 years later, no scientific correlation between man's activity and global warming.

For the people who say they are environmentalists: think how much permanent wildlife habitat could have been purchased for 79 billion. You could have bought thousands of square miles of Amazon rain forest, tiger habitat in India, and more. Instead you bought Al Gore a private jet and several large energy-wasting houses.

Coulda fed a lot of people too, or made the Keystone Project come out right. Or paved some roads or built some hospitals or ...

79 mil taxpayer dollars spent on pancreatic cancer research would put you 79 billion further away from a cure.

How much of that went into AlGore's pocket?

79 mil, and YOUR science is settled?
Well alrighty then, thank you for your input.
Your laboratories, office supplies and furniture, will now be redistributed. Your meal cards at the faculty cafeteria will be canceled.
The gravy train is now CLOSED! Period.
Please take your seats, but the lights, water, and heat will be turned off in an hour to save resources.

And yet, 79 billion is still not enough. The DOE is "back in business", and has $4 billion in loan guarantees for more Solyndras. Al Gore is still laughing all the way to the bank.

Wait, global warming doesn't cause pancreatic cancer?

Hey, for that $79 Billion we got curly light bulbs and ethanol tainted gas.

Well, we pay half again as much for motor fuels that are less energy dense than they could be, but at least we are pricing half of the world's poor out of our corn crop!

Rachel Carson was a piker.

To hell with the environment have you seen the cost of a good steak as we are getting to the barbecue season (if I can scrape the ice off the Weber).

It could have stayed in the possession of the people that owned it.

The people that spent that $79bil should be the one's to pay for it. Off with their nutz, then chain em to the wheel. When their debt is satisfied their chains will be lifted.

Think of what $79 billion more in ordinary Americans' pockets would have done for their quality of life. It got misspent because it got handed over to frauds and thieves.
