Something Wonderful: Sequoia in a Snowstorm

There must be some distortion in the photo technique used, because the image of the man in the top of the tree appears to be twice as large than that of the man at the tree's base.

It's National Geographic, so I'm wondering, did this tree get so big because of global warming? Is the snow falling around it caused by global warming? Are other trees smaller because of global warming?

Because with National Geographic, it's always about global warming, caused by the human infestation of Gaia.
