She would have been a matinee idol any time during the Golden Age of Hollywood. I always thought of her as being an anachronism, a classy, gorgeous throwback. I look at her and cannot think of one single political thing she has ever uttered, and if she had, I would not care.
They don't keep her kind in stock anymore, these days. Too bad.
