Brave men and true, some grandads or fathers of me and you. What have we done, or do, to repay the principal debt owed, and the interest too?
We're glued to the boob tube -- inviting a mind mash by laugh track, entraining insipid, mind-numbing trash.
Too many spirits, now broken and bent, losing directions to roads, on which our ancestors went.
Peace brought distractions. Forgetfulness? No!
We haven't yet learned what we need to know.
