Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon, Studebaker, Television ... North Korea, South Korea, Marilyn Monroe

OHS%i! I was looking at M & MM and then Hillarity on the sidebar directly on the right. You made a visual haiku, there.

I was just finishing up my landmark scientific study of your other Marilyn Monroe photos, and now this.

How do you expect me to get any work done?

Thank God I am so dedicated to science.

Humanity will thank me for this, someday.

I always thought Marilyn was a bit chubby and I am vindicated at last. Mamie is three-bears-just-right.

Me for the chubby one.

When I was in the Navy back in the 70s I served with a Lt. Cdr, a Phantom pilot, who was Mamie's lover at the time. One of her many I'm sure but that was fine with him and it would have worked with me, too. Can't recall his name but he was a real interesting guy and a fine, fine, guitar player.

1949 to 1989. Almost the story of all that was going on during my working life. Graduated high school in 1950. When interviewed for Navy OCS in 1954 I was asked what I knew about Ho Chi Minh. Very little. And I had no inkling that 11 years later I would be flying over his Worker's Paradise with the intent of doing harm to his cause.

I learned what globalization meant. How a Vietnamese Commie could throw a monkey wrench in my life's plans. Heh, in 1989 the Iron Curtain came down. I thought I had gotten some control back.

Retired in 1993 and had some control until 2001. Then some crazy Islamist in a cave in Afghanistan declared war on us. Then in 2008 we elected a world class narcissist and the control is slipping even more. Do we hate the TSA more (al Queda defense) or the loss of American confidence brought about by Obama?

I thought my children would live in a better world. They won't and I'm damned sorry about that.

I liked Mamie, but Monroe was/is in a class by herself.

I hear you Jimmy J. Based upon my careful analysis of the two pics though, Mamie has the best legs. I'm a leg guy and I always notice that first. Had I been raised in the Victorian era I might have lost my mind for lack of legs.

Well, fellers, I always say that if one's good, two's better. I can see Mamie as my main squeeze and Marilyn as my trophy. Now, if Gerard was actually furthering the interests of scientifical research he'd come up with some more a them pix showin' each gal's attributes. it's awful hard to make decisions with such a scant visual sampling.

I notice over on the other side of the page, in the "look but don't comment" section, he's got pictures of Hillary, lightening, some coon with an outrageous hairdo, some red-faced author guy, all kindsa pix. least he could do would be to show more of the dollies.

It's amazing how just 6 extra pounds can get you in bed with the POTUS and his wannabe brother to boot.
