Good take on what could have been bad for the kid. The Mom gets a ten.
I like the last quip at the end, the Black guy with the catsup.

It's funny, isn't it? How us guys hurry up, can't wait to shave; so I scraped four whiskers off my face when I was twelve and my dad kept from laughing but he had a wry look on his face.
I didn't understand the wry look until I was thirty and I decided, I hate shaving. I like being clean shaven, just don't like the process.
Women are the same way my missus tells me. Can't wait to shave their legs and they all wanna have them periods. Oh, they also want boobs.
Soon they loathe the shaving process and consider the monthly period a pain in the, uh, er, you know what.
Got our feet on the gas, want to hurry and grow up until about thirty and then screech, foot on brakes.

That's so much better than sitting her down and talking about lying, growing up, and being patient. Much better to utterly humiliate and destroy her at massive expense in some extended practical joke.

I recall in my distant misty past that adults were grown up, the mature ones who made wise decisions rather than based everything on entertainment and childish cruelty.

Christopher, if it was really about the girl in the video I would agree with you. But it's not. It about all the other girls who watch the video and learn something. Maybe. Hyperbole can sometimes be effective. Jesus said, if your hand sins, cut it off. Jackie Gleason said, "To the moon, Alice!" Sort of like using a 2X4 on a mule.

She's only a kid fer f*cksakes.
Give her a good hard punch in the face and that's it, that's all.

The day I went from tomboy to bleeding hysteric with boobs and hips was a day that was only happy for the boys trying to cop a feel. My joy was restored when I found that I could punch them in the face and make them cry like girls.
Good times.
