What a beautiful picture.

None of those folks has ever spent time trapped in a small room being hectored by propaganda and generalized insanity coming from a box that has no off switch. None of them has ever been in a place where the racket of popular "music" filled every available space with cacaphony. They all think that they're in charge of their own destinies, with the exception of the few inevitable envious radicals who take no responsibility for anything.

They're all, in a word, normal. Hell, there's probably somebody in that image who raises bantam chickens....;-}

For that time of decency and calm,

"Midnight moon. Early June.
A wisp of mist goes wandering,
pauses here and there to hug its mother
Earth.
Caresses rock and tree,
nurses new-born
blades of grass.

And into deep calm refreshing sleep
go those who know some truth,
while God, like Owl with wise old eyes,
tunes the world with love and grace, and
moonbeam lullabies.
