Christy Mathewson! In the article quoted its not "lionize" that's the problem, it's the "lyin' eyes."
The reporters see the obvious truth and they reject it in favor of inflammatory lies so as to command TV time. They should be properly skewered in the sewers that puke them up onto the public each day.
Or better yet, as a teachable moment, deport these reporters to the Middle East where, deservedly, they can have their heads handed to them.
