Comments: Short of actual credible threat of war by the United States,

Goldman has been correct more often than not, and he believes that Putin's motive is to in effect control portions of eastern Europe which have significant Russian populations, and no more. Let the Germans deal with it. We can't deal with our own border.

Western Europe has a problem with a population from the Middle East. They'll find that trouble to be more intractable that the Russian Bear.

The collapse of our southern border, the outbreak and spread of Ebola and other pestilence like the resurgence of TB;
the outbreak of violence in large urban area inner city ghettos by "exuberant youth", the collapse of the dollar, the unraveling of our country;

We are concerned what Russia does to a bunch of its neighbors in a dance that has been going on for a couple centuries? Which involvement by the US will result in many American military lives being lost, much money and time and other resources being wasted? Like the Lend-Lease of WWII, "oh yeah, we'll pay you back"?
Really? Fret about the Russians and the ineffective NATO?

Oh yeah. I forgot about the Muslims. They are as we speak preparing to perform acts that will kill Americans, singly or wholesale.
The borders, the plague, the temporary alliance with the drug cartels, a lotta ways to do it without flying a plane into a building.

What has priority, the safety of our country or the politics of Russia?

Obviously the White House has answered that one Chas. Russia or the Levant, it's 6-5 and pick 'em.
