The Enduring Legacy of Osama bin Laden

Passengers and flight crew members are molested and screened before getting on the aircraft. The 10-30 people working on, in, and around your aircraft between flights are not touched once before receiving unrestricted access to the same aircraft between flights.

They put a name, address, SSN, DL number on a form, and if they were smart enough to use a name not on the no-fly list, have any warrants, owe child support, they get a security badge and that is the last time anyone official comes within spitting distance of them.

I had one of these jobs. Some of these jobs allow these near minimum-wage employess to drive vehicles on/off airport property without so much as looking inside. The cabin cleaners often arrive by company bus, and they hold up their badge without so much as getting out of their seat.

If one of them wanted to place a device the size of your microwave oven inside the aircraft, they could. These jobs are filled, to a large degree, by recent arrivals to the US.

Why can't the dolts responsible for security at least adopt the airport/airline/passenger security
measures used successfully by Israel?
Are these numbskulls too busy thinking with the contents of their colons?
