Comments: The Great Influenza

This is getting a lot of pump from the media and our own government. The best way to stop the spread of the plague is to isolate, kill, burn the carriers. Throw a cordon around Liberia and fire bomb the place. Finished.

We are hearing a lot of justification for how deadly it is and how fast it can spread, "exponentially" they say, but the methods to fight the disease are like lining up for flu shots at Walgreens. There is an agenda unfolding here and it has to do with money and power, not some silly reason like save the people.

The same rationale exists with the Muslim threat. They're everywhere, they can slip across our borders, chop off heads, suicide bomb nursery schools, blow up Hoover Dam, so on. But um, let's ask them what their citizenship is and whatever the answer, give them permits, drivers licenses, free medical and housing. WTF?

This new Black Death (or Death from Blacks) should be pitched to the generally unaffected citizens of North America as a chance to fight a war over there, so we don't have to fight the war on our native soil.
But it isn't. The Obama administration seems to be pitching this as another example of "Fairness". We have the resources and the trained personnel so we must rush in (not Barry, he's staying at home, or on the golf course). We must give because by their suffering and their need the inhabitants of SouthWest Africa deserve it.

I say, hold your horses! First answer the question of what happened to the hundreds of Billions given over the decades to create and support a healthcare infrastructure in those countries? Before the USA starts shipping thousands of tons of supplies to sit on the docks or at the airport, all ready to be loaded onto trucks to be shipped to ...Where? If no good answer to the question is given then the only thing we should ship them is rope. And a Boy Scout Guide on how to tie a hangman's knot. After satisfactory use is made of those materials, then we'll talk about the rest.

Orphans and orphanages became a significant part of the American landscape after 1919.
