This sequel to Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" is failure as a comedy, even if we are only being joshed by a mite-mouthed marionette disconnected from a mind.
They are among us, gaining quicksand all the time. I'm getting a sinking feeling that meaninglessness is on the move as an avalanche of emptiness!
