This is so absurd that is rises to awesomeness. I am all for the Kurds, if for no other reason (and there are many solid reasons) than to stick a finger in the eyes of the average dooshes who run Ay Rabia.
My own plan would be to put an American armored division in Kurdish Iraq. Facing north. Now, tell the Suunis and Shiite-heads that we recognize the Kurds as in charge in Iraq, and that hereafter the Suunis and the Shiites are de-certified. It's pay to play and while we're at it the Turks can sit and spin on the new order.
