Lane, there is a clever bunch of commenters here at Gerard's site. They will gloss over the Weimar reference and pause but briefly on Leni Riefenstahl, fully comprehending that Triumph of the Will is not a self-help video.
Fritz Lang would be a nostalgic trip down the repertoire cinemas of the 60s, arguably the best decade in recent years. Except for California when belladonna was used as a mix.
