A longer response would include mention of the Cloward-Piven strategy for bringing down the US economy and subsequently the entire government. An article by James Simpson over at American Thinker talked of this.

Chas, that assumes the following government rising out of the ashes is Socialistic. It could be that those clamoring for more "free" are viewed as the cause and wind up getting shot along with the remnants of any Gimmint Agent.
After the first contact in battle, all plans go in the shitter. I know you know this.

The whole point of Marxist fantasy-land is that once the proletariat seize the reins of power by overthrowing the perceived oppressor, ......something will happen - and unicorns and rainbows will become the order of the day, angry chicks will be perceived as sex-goddesses, shit will smell like violets, and other mystical examples of devoutly-to-be-wished will rule the universe.
That black box on the flow chart labeled "and then a miracle will occur" has been and continues to be conveniently elided by every leftist snake-oil pitcher (and worse, buyer) since its first appearance. Cloward and Piven were uncritical consumers of the Gramscian notion that sufficient chaos would inevitably lead to cries for a dictatorship.
And Democrats, having been stupid enough to be gulled by the execrable Bill Clinton, just lined up to buy more of this shit.
