According to the New York Post, Monica Lewinski has sold her story for $12 million to an unnamed publisher. Not bad money for giving the prez a little fellatio. I can hardly wait for it to be published.

Has anyone wondered why the publishing business is going tits up? There is no way any business can pay those advances to supposed popular liberal personages and continue to survive. The remainder bins must be overflowing.

I'd laugh at him but he's still sold more books than I have.

Hire his agent.

My wife and I do books, we work on them, for the top publishers in Manhattan and elsewhere, and have so for the past 20 years. I can safely say that at least 90% of what is being published is utter garbage, filled with falsehoods, tripe, misinformation, and just plain silliness.

I just completed one this week about US History. jeezis kryste on a skateboard, what a disaster. I never knew Jimi Hendrix and Ms. magazine were pertinent US history. Oh yeah, the last chapter was titled oshitwipe.

Woodchuck's question is my question too. How can these publishers keep funding these losers? At some point it all has to fall down under it's own weight.

Publishers rely on a very small number of huge sellers to prop up their other projects. Its like movies that way: put out 10 stinkers or money losers and one blockbuster.

I'm not surprised that so few copies were sold, I'm surprised that any copies sold at all. What kind of creature is it that buys a book by Andrew Cuomo? Consider, and shudder.
