Comments: Clown Terrorism: It's On, Baby

Should I feel badly that I found this laugh-out-loud funny? My apologies, but I have that typical Anglo reflexive reaction about the French. I know if I deconstruct my reaction, I find I can say many, many good things about France and its people, but there are aspects of that Nation's psyche that require God to punish them in some bizarre fashion or another.

Incidentally, it is the quintessential American clown that is scary. Typical European clowns are a different breed -- downright gay-looking, to be precise.

Are these Clowns in France done up as American clowns? It would certainly have greater effect if they were.

I'm surprised they didn't just drown them in a mornaise sauce and pelt them with capers.

At least they're wearing "uniforms"!

Are Mimes considered clowns ? and if they are, will they be arrested for miming an attack ?

I didn't know the mime was loaded.

Don't look. He was mimed to death.

I have a mime, and I'm not afraid to use it.

Headline: Bomb experts explode mime in suspicious invisible box.

Did Lady Di want to outlaw landmimes?

I've wondered lately exactly what the downside to Europe would be had the Nazis run the table in 1940.

The media portrayal of average european people is appalling but not nearly so as the americans that actually claim to believe that shit.

There is the same percentage of braindead idiots running loose in europe as there is in the US.

And idiocy has been on a continuous climb for a long time now.
