George Carlin on "Saving" the Planet

First general theory I've seen that made sense.

Lots of common sense there.

Gaia = life. During all the billions of years and changes and devastations, life has persisted and become more complex. What's that all about? It's like some magical Force or Will or Something is pushing it forward. What could that be? I like to call it The Creator but others may disagree.

I've seen Carlin a number of times, and that was the only time his audience was not all in. I'd say they were squirming a bit.

They were sliding around in their green shit filled underpants, deservedly.

Yeah, this was back in the '80s, I think, when liberals weren't afraid to tell the truth for a laugh - although you could tell ol' George had 'em squirmin' in their seats, and a few catcalls threatened to arise.

Heh.

"What's the difference between dykes and whales?"

"Nobody wants to save the dykes."
