I'm speechless. Just wonderful!
Posted by Gerry at December 11, 2014 4:39 PMBravo. Atheists can just pout.
EPIC!! WOW, that just lifted up my soul.
Posted by David R. at December 11, 2014 7:35 PMThat was FAN-tastic! Beautiful. Thanks!
Posted by Jeff Brokaw at December 11, 2014 7:59 PMBrilliant. Beautiful. Funny. The sun just came out on this rainy, overcast day.
Posted by D S Craft at December 12, 2014 8:53 AMOh, and Mr. Vanderleun, where on earth do you find these gems?
Posted by D S Craft at December 12, 2014 8:55 AMFantastic performance, by high school kids, no less. Nice version of the Messiah, too, with a proper trumpet line. Bravo!
Posted by waltj at December 12, 2014 11:22 AMThe best part was at 2:58...
Posted by Todd at December 12, 2014 11:24 AMSome people can't remember the axiom "Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

Gerard, this was wonderful. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Posted by benjaminthomas at December 12, 2014 12:17 PMSo Benjamin, by not keeping your mouth shut you are telling us you are a fool because you went back and looked for the 2:58 mark?
Posted by Todd at December 13, 2014 9:35 AMI hate to burst everyone's bubble, but these kids probably lifted the routine from the Portland Gay Men's Choir, which can also be seen on Youtube. It's prefaced with a long, catty, purple-prosey anti-religious screed that makes it understood that these self-denying monks haven't a clue about how to live in this world, where pleasures of the flesh should be paramount. (Sorry, got purple all over me.)
