There's a house in our neighborhood here in Maryland which is similar: a gazillion electronically controlled LED lights, some in the shape of Christmas trees, some stars, some candy canes, etc. The guy has a low-power FM transmitter playing songs (you can tune into it with your car radio), and the lights are choreographed to match the music. It's pretty neat. You see cars parked across the street watching them, but I've never seen cars lined up out to the highway. Perhaps there are not as many sights to see in Utah as there are out here.
