In America Anything Worth Doing Is Worth Overdoing

All we like sheep.....

Not only slaves to Big Subdivision, giving their freedoms away to Big Mortgage Banksters, but now surrendering any shreds of human decency by submitting to Big Xmas.

Note: they do not deserve the word "Christmas" anywhere within haffa mile of the place.

They will find out soon when the Kwanzaa-ites move in next door that their holiday freedoms have been usurped by exuberant Season's Greeters.

oh man... come on you guys.. you gotta love it!!

I see hope and community. I love it. I usually find myself agreeing with both Rob and Chas...love your guys comments usually..

But you have to give it a break once in a while.. sometimes things are just cool in their own right..

I see it more like flipping the bird to all the humbug that surrounds Christmas lately..

God is God of all things large and small.. There is none like him. He created all from nothing.. he holds every atom in his hands .. each quantum particle in the universe obeys his will... God created the heavens because it pleased him!
Even the smallest things are amazing..

It is our nature to create like our creator.. In the same way a small child models his father, we model our Father in heaven..

I say good job men of this neighborhood because I have no doubt it was men who did this. When I see things like this, I hear an echo of our creator.

God Bless you men of "The houses on Manning Street"!!!!

God Bless all the readers of American Digest and blessings to you Gerard creating the finest cultural aggregator in the known universe.

In Christ, because outside of Christ there is no Hope,

I'm with Bill on this one. Not everything can be reduced to politics all the time.

1 Corinthians 13:2

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains, but have not charity, I am nothing.

Take a breath, boys. My comment wasn't even somewhat about politics, but about my own inability to live among herd creatures, OK? I've been carefully educated for going on 70 years now that the fault lies with me, but it ain't gonna change as far as I can tell. It was pointed out by my first-grade teacher that I'm severely uncomfortable in groups. Being subjected to that neighborhood and its residents would drive me to suicide.

I say let 'em hook up the lights all they want to. My only complaint is that ear pollution they are pumping out alongside the lights. It's not Christmas music, is it?

Surely they could match up some nice flashy sequence with good old "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" or with Mannheim Steamroller's "Deck the Halls"? No?

Breathing... ;) God Bless you both Rob and Chas..

OK, OK, I reckon I'm being too cynical about some good clean fun. My attempts at satire need some work.
If I don't watch out I'll start sounding like a Libertarian, grin.

Thanks for the scripture. The "Love Chapter".

1Cor 10:13 And now stays faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
