Comments: Anyone here ever been to Pakistan?

I have read these stories about Pakistan and talked to my Aunt who lived there in the 1960s and 70s, She says everyone treated her (an American) well.

Pakistan makes Bangladesh look like Paradise. No wonder they wanted to split off.

pkerot - I flew into and out of Pakistan often in the '50s and '60s. Your aunt is right. Just like NY, Chicago, or LA, you stayed in the right part of town and it was perfectly safe and sane. I frequented Peshawar and among other outings, once went through the Khyber Pass as far as Landi Kotal and spent an hour or so there. Never a hint of danger. Of course in those days word had it that Pakistani law enforcement took no prisoners.

He's nice now, but what about tomorrow? Do you think he'd be nice if his kind were numerous enough to call the shots, or if someone in your town were to do something for which the Prophet demands death?

And that's the big concern. I know some Muslims and they are decent folks. They are live and let live kinds that have good food and don't bother anyone. But... what if? If Islam was in charge, they wouldn't bat an eyelash at me being forced to pay taxes to survive, being banned from government, and being forced to worship at home, in secret.

The problem with Islam is that it is utterly inflexible and tyrannical in power and Muslims are perfectly fine with that. All the stuff idiot atheists and leftists scream about "Christers" wanting in "Jesusland" is true but multiplied by ten with Muslims.

You can get along with a Muslim, as long as they aren't in power, and they don't get a wild hair. But you'll notice they don't exactly shed a tear over the heads hacked off and the bombs strapped to people killing Jewish babies.

In the time and geography of Jesus, the Romans were the great power. They would exterminate those who fought them and accommodate those that didn't. They were, for that day, benign rulers. New Testament rules of engagement did not evolve around an Islamic power which came later. The savage takes kindness for weakness, and often for cowardice, which in the Progressive it always is. The Constitution may not be a suicide pact, but the carcass of Christianity is.

Folks, as unpleasant as it may appear, going against spiritual principles that I and many others espouse in Christianity, the only solution for the Muslim threat is to kill every last one of them, their families, their friends, their neighbors; to lay waste to their crop lands and salt their wells, to destroy their buildings such that no two stones lay atop one another.
The justification, if one is needed, is that the Muslims are Evil. Whether we are spiritual or worldly, believers or atheists, young, old, gay or straight, male or female, White or Black, or any other combination of the above, the paradigm in which we all repose dictates that some things are good, some bad, and some Evil.

Instead of cowering and hoping that it won't happen near us we should be fire-bombing Baghdad and other concentrations of Muslim terrorists. Can't find 'em? Enlarge the target area.

"How can we fight an enemy that God won't allow us to hate?"
What? Simple!
Nothing personal, it's just business!

There's a basic level of sad confusion these days that our ancestors did not suffer from.

You don't need to hate an enemy to fight them. You can love them and fight them. It is our duty and an act of love to oppose evil and stop people from doing wrong or harming themselves. Love isn't "doing nice stuff" or "doing things that people want you to do." We punish our kids out of love when they do wrong - its unloving to not do so.

We fight against evil and murderous tyranny out of love, not hate. Love for our fellow man to protect them. Love for the enemy to stop them.

The Crusaders were Christians and they had no problem swinging the sword. If the Pope doesn't like it tell him to get the hell out of the way.

He didn't mind the first time around. And as for Papal goodness, The Medici's and the Borgia's certainly soiled the Church's name.

Dirtying it up a bit more can't do much more damage.

I chose the word Evil to describe the enemy which threatens the world. There is a moral, perhaps spiritual paradigm assumed. Can there be any doubt that the followers of Islam do harm to all other people?
This is not a domestic problem. No need for the societal remedies like public executions or racial segregation and control. Every country contends with its own troubles, like racism, poverty, over-population, degenerated morals. Let each country deal with their troubles as they see fit.
On a global scale, the Evil ones are the Muslims: radical, conservative, wishy-washy, Westernized, all variations that hold the Koran as their holy book.
Some may be found in our country but the problem is on a world scale and any peoples harmed by the Muslims must come together to fight the foe.
The remedy to the damage and destruction, the murder most foul and the barbaric actions of Muslims can only be met with a force strong enough to overcome once and for all that which threatens all others.
Death sudden, overwhelming, final, no hesitation, and thorough by whatever means will accomplish the end result — elimination of the Evil.
