I'm assuming arson is a crime in Missouri, and by now at least a few people should be headed for the penitentiary. I saw video from the riots of a man inside a store lighting a display on fire. Just stood there, calmly and patiently waiting for the stuff to ignite. Surely the state attorney general and the fire marshal aren't on the take as the Governor is/was?

There will be no judicial retribution, no charges brought except a few involving some creeps that everybody wants thrown under the bus, token guilty.
Federal money will be funneled in for all the local pols to get a hunk of the pie; new tenement housing will be built with more gravy for local pols and construction outfits.
Think: Cabrini Green in Chicago. Planned obsolescence. What the residents don't wreck the government will.
