New York Daily News Wins "Front Page of the Decade So Far" Award

Spin? Simple truth may be shocking, even electrifying, but it doesn't spin.

I see what you mean but Given the overall impact of that page I'm not going to carp on one word.

Read "The Communist" by Paul Kengor, Ph.D.

You can get a used copy for two bucks. Obo boy was raised by Communists. Just look at what the creep has done in office. Check out his associations in the universities he attended.

This hits the fan because it resonates.

All of a sudden this is a shocking discovery?

Posted by chasmatic at February 21, 2015 10:25 AM

I'm with Chas.....since when did anybody not know this? What's best about this whole flap is that the lefties immediately started jumpin up an down about whether he say "cullut," because RAAAAAYCISUM.

Actually, my favorite thing about that page is the image of The Won in a ring with Manny Pacquiao. I'd buy ringside seats for that.

How come for the past 20 or more years I have been greatly relieved, almost to the point of exhaustion, when a US president leaves office only to be rehorrified all over again with the new one?

I ain't part of the picture but I have to endure the image.

My only amazement is why it took Rudy so long to figure it out. He simply said what folks like me have known since 2007, when the entire democrat political machine, the MSM and even BHO's political opponents knew before the election.

What all these professional clowns didn't know was how far he was going to take the party in two administrations. Now they have to wear it.

Read the last eight years of Trevor Loudon's blog; he nailed him from day one. Gerard has also outed him him consistently on this blog. One question - why does Bill O'Reilly and his crew cag on calling him a commie? Is it because it is a sin to disrespect the POTUS, regardless of his obvious affiliations. Obastard is the perfect meld for 'the project' - born a Muslim, nurtured by commies. Cometh the hour cometh the man. His remaining two years of 'lame duck' will be both baleful and baneful. He has already perpetrated many treasonous acts, not only against America, but against Western Civilisation in general. But the sad, sad fact is that he was ELECTED as POTUS - twice! What does that say about the country that he despises so much? I despair folks: having lived under the tough old brolly of Uncle Sam for 70 years of my 81, for the first time in my life I feel undefended by the alliance of which your and my country were once major stanchions. Both our countries are now cursed with traitors as leaders and little prospect of change, either from the upshot of our election next May and yours in 2016. It is time for an uprising of some sort - but who will lead it? Where have all the potential leaders gone?

Impotence at the age of 81 should be a normal acceptable and inevitable outcome of life - a benign run-down; but the kind of impotence that I now feel feel is gut wrenching as I see our nations being undermined by their own Administrations and I fear for my four children and thirteen grandchildren/great-grandchildren (and so on ad-infinitum - which may be soon curtailed if current geopolitical eruptions are any guide).

What to do, my American cousins?

I see Obama more as a hard core socialist than a communist. He appears more interested in redirection of the economy through gubmint intervention than showing much desire to nationalize private industries. Regardless, I believe he has more than just slight angst for whites. Both communism and socialism put real dampers on our freedoms and liberties.

What to do? Cruz or Carson '16

I see Obama more as a hard core socialist than a communist.

That's a distinction without a difference. In the words of Lenin, "The goal of socialism is communism."

What do you call Obamacare if not the nationalization of the insurance racket?

Right. That'll fix everything right up won't it? LOL

Some will never learn.

Obama repudiates every characteristic that defines an American President and Congress pretty much does the same thing. If it didn't, we wouldn't be discussing Obama now except in the context of cleaning up his disasters and discussing his ouster.

Posted by Jack at February 22, 2015 1:00 PM

Let's not split hairs. There clearly is a difference between communism and socialism. They are simply two evils.

As for "some will never learn", we can get behind someone who can make a difference or just complain on blogs. Maybe I'll do both.

Posted by Snakepit Kansas at February 22, 2015 5:16 PM

And I repeat, Lenin himself (you remember him, right?) said "The goal of socialism is communism." Is that too difficult to understand? Should I speak slower?

Socialism is and has always been, and intended to be, merely a way-station on the route to a totalitarian state. Its intent is to lull the foolish (take as much of that as you wish) with promises of rainbows and unicorns. The failure to recognize this is precisely the cause of the current dilemma.

Rob,
Repeat it over and over very slowly if it makes you feel good. I thought this blog was for sharing of different opinions for thoughtful discussion.

Lenin may very well have thought Socialism was a stepping stone toward Communism. I do not have a debate with you on that. I don't think the general public in this country would go for pure communism. Some level of populism to socialism, yes, many people would and have thought that a good route. It often sounds good until you do the math and/or ignore basic economics. If the US continues toward Socialism we will end no different than Argentina, Venezuela and Greece. To YOUR point though I can see Greece going Communist in the future. We will see I guess.
