Comments: The New York Times readership, in a nutshell

My opinion? Of a shitbird?

I think this nancy boy deserves a good hard punch in the face.

"I recycled it - in a huff!"

Censorship in the name of......

My hope is that one day in the not too distant future, people like this will be compelled to actually read the Constitution in hopes that they will discover that there is no right to not ever be offended by their countrymen. I find this person offensive, but not much I can do about it except dismiss him/her as an idiot.

I agree it seems to have been written by a "woman." If the writer was male, he's got other problems besides self-righteousness.

C'mon. This is a private business and the guy who owns it has every right to decide what friggin' magazines he has there. I have no idea whether or not he'd agree with me and I don't care. It's his dam business!

I don't know, I understand the motivation behind this, if I find a copy of some crappy leftist rag like a Mother Jones in a dentist's office I'd be tempted to bin it, but yeah its wrong and further its cowardly. You destroy the opposition's voice because you are afraid of it and feel unable to counter it yourself.

The phrase "if the magazine were supplied by the gym" would seem to indicate that the author is not the owner or operator of the gym. His/her (I lean towards her) use of that pronoun is affiliative, not truly possessive.

Make that two PITF.

If that is the orientation of the owner of that business, why are you patronizing that place and giving them your money?

The tone of the whole thing is as if a child wrote it. My hope is that soon, someone caves that human wastes head in. It's a liar, a thief, and a retard, and has no business using my air.

I do the same thing when I find a copy of the NY Times. Actually I don't recycle it in the common sense of the word. I burn it to keep us warm during this current spate of global climate change. It might as well be used for some benefit.

I can't imagine that a man wrote that.
