Comments: Parents Must Sign Permission Slip Before Kids Can Eat Oreos
I doubt this had anything to do with the teacher or the school. Bad as they are. It's a fear of the odd parent, like one of my sisters.

If they were proposing to take the kids to a homosexual S&M club, there wouldn't be any consent form.

You 2 guys are real screams. And right.
That fertile ground, where people are raised by state authority, now a distortion of reality and an attraction to misfits all, and expansion to everything that's wrong in the world.

I agree with James Wilson here. This one is all on the parents. The teacher is just covering their ass from one lunatic parent throwing a fit because their angel was exposed to a cookie without their permission.

And as proof just google Publix+cookie+Clarksville, TN and you'll see where parents are suing Publix because they gave a cookie to their child and he almost instantly died from it, supposedly. Publix, if you didn't know, has a long history of giving cookies to the kids of shoppers. Even ham sandwiches are fearful these days.
