Comments: "A deliberate mass murder that killed far more people than any one-man shooting spree in history."

If some one person wishes to end their life, fine. Please do it in a discrete way and a discreet place. There isn't any reason to annoy the horses and upset the neighbors.

Including other unwilling/uninformed participants goes beyond the pale. There has to be a special place in whatever Hells are available for such individuals. they rank up there with those who kill civilians to make a point.

What can be done? Nothing! There isn't any way to get inside someone's head unless they're willing to talk about it. the powers can watch, observe and look for quirks; everyone has some little twitch which is odd to others. Go figure.

Life can be exciting maybe long, maybe short but it will never be safe or secure.

The actions of this maniac are unforgivable and inexplicable. The true existence of Evil among us is the only possible characterization of what he did. Whatever his stresses, he was a moral coward who refused to take inventory or responsibility.

And Jim Goad is a God-damned fool. "Depression is not an illness, it’s an emotion." That is just possibly the stupidest single fucking opinion I have ever encountered outside the liberal echo chamber.

Jimmie, if you've never encountered PTSD or anything resembling it, then you should thank your lucky stars that you still live in the safety of your mother's lap whatever your age. You just don't know shit about this, and would do yourself a favor by shutting the fuck up.

"That’s a leap of selfishness as high as the French Alps." One might even call it Germanic...

In case you weren't watching, 27 is the new 17, or is it the other way around? Regardless, most 27 yo's have the mentality of teenagers who are not fit to do much at all cept fix pop tarts in the toaster. Take a look: http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnnnext/dam/assets/150330202958-ac-pkg-kaye-andreas-lubitz-life-and-history-00000510-large-169.jpg

isn't that a 17 yo? Why was that kid allowed around a steering wheel? Oh that's right, silly me. One more reason to stay outta them aluminum tubes.

One other thing.
I was part of a 150 man team that bridged the Rhine river in less than 3 hours. Why were the 150 people on that plane unable to get that cockpit door open and crack that punks neck in 8 minutes?

I can't imagine sitting there and letting that happen. I'd a been dead before the plane hit the ground, or it wouldn't have hit at all.
