Take what you believe should be your ideal weight times 10 and that's how many calories to consume in every 24 hour period. Stick to it without fail and 1 year later that is what you'll weigh, no other efforts needed.

That whole 2000 calories per day idea is bunk, 'specially if your're eating REAL food. If you're eating fake food then all bets are off and you'll deserve what you'll receive.
