Indeed and everyone just loves to bring it up in all sorts of settings. Even guys who ought to know better because they aren't aware of its origin or purpose. You hear great chefs like Alton Brown talking about it and its just obnoxious because the principle of "sustainable food" is great the way they mean it - an ever replenishing supply of steady food sources that we don't tap out or overuse - but its just feeding into an agenda.

Sure, but some foodstuffs we don't have farms for: tuna for instance. So I understand the idea of wanting to be careful not to overuse some food sources.
