Matt Walsh: Here’s What You Can Do About The Persecution of Christians: Stop Being a Lazy Coward

It is because the Christianity is Lite. There is a dilute form called Moralistic Therapeutic Deism which is what a lot of folks actually mean when they say "Christian."

We recently had our church leave us. My grandfather helped to build it in the early 1920's. Over my whole life it was a conservative cornerstone of our community. So much good, for so many folks over the years. In the mid nineties, the left started to creep in, but the congregation was older and nothing much changed. Little by little, things were dropped and attitudes were shaped. Still, the church resisted and stood up against what was unbiblical. The death nail came when the synod threw down and made them choose. They chose poorly. We are, after 3 generations, moving on, even though my parents are interred in the memorial garden. It breaks my heart.

"They won’t even declare their faith on Facebook for fear that it might prompt a mean Facebook message and an unfriending."

===================

If I was a christian, to this I would say, "My faith is for ME not for others and I care not what they think, say, or do."

Facebook. Really?

As with so many things the Lefties are changing, they are not so much taking from us as we are giving it away. Or letting it slip from our grasp.

I don't think Christians in this country are persecuted. You'd have to look at Nazi Germany or Commie China or some countries in Africa.
ISIS and all the Muslim terrorists lopping off heads, that's persecution.

I am a Christian and I try to be true to the tenets of my faith but sometimes it is hard.
Many folks who call themselves Christian, they talk the talk but they don't walk the walk.

As Josey Wales would say, "Callin' and doin' and the same, boy."
