Gray was a criminal but it appears that he was rousted by the cops without reason. Its hard to know whether to trust the city attorney or the info right now, but supposedly it was over an illegal knife, which turns out to have been just an ordinary, legal knife.
Now, I'm always willing to give cops the benefit of the doubt and its true that people here are looking for a reason to hate them but its not exactly unheard of for cops to roust known scumbags to try to lean on them and show they can't get away with their illegal actions without police attention. And if the latest report is true, this appears to be an example of it.
On the other hand, the latest camera footage appears to show Gray doing the trick where prisoners will bash themselves up on the way to the station then claim police abuse (probably hoping he could blame his damaged neck on them from earlier surgery). That didn't work out so well.
So if this is all accurate: lots of stupid to go around, and one dead bad guy.

I don't think they consider themselves "Young African-American males".
I think they call themselves Niggers and Thugs and out of respect for their wishes so will I.
