Comments: The Mysterious Disappearance of the Thomas Hume and its Dramatic Rediscovery

How fascinating. The ship went down, stayed down, and was found.
My uncle Letsgo tells of a time back in Blue Island Illinois when a tornado came through. Blew the roof right off the chicken coop and that roof has never been found, to this very day!
Most of the chickens, being Bantams, survived the storm and only one was reported missing. Probably went the same place the roof did.
As for the bantam chickens, those little sumbitches are the living descendants of velociraptors. I wouldn't be messing with 'em. Limited use was made of them during wartime, and last year a permanent exhibit was unveiled at the Chicken Hall of Fame featuring the wartime works of my uncle and the Chicken Talkers.

3/4 of our estate fence was destroyed during hurricane Charlie in 2004 and 1 section was gone completely, to be found 3 blocks away while walking the dogs, in a vacant lot. I salvaged that missing section into a headboard for our bed which is still used today.
