Comments: Right after Penn Jillette went bonkers and took up atheism as his cause,

People of Faith have a logical idea of what Life is all about.

A somewhat succinct statement I heard at a tent revival meeting:

The Bible says it;
I believe it;
That settles it.
Any questions about that?

What about what the Bible doesn't say? There is a lot of space out there.

No Originalist, no origin or subsequent.

Penn Gillette is cowardly shit. He has admitted that he doesn't criticize Muslims the way he does Christians because he doesn't want to be killed.

It's kinda funny that a word was invented for not believing in something.

It seems to me that atheists vibe scared.

Afraid to submit, afraid to admit that some Higher Power is greater than them.

For atheists, failure is acceptable.

Atheism is a faith. A faith that there is no higher power. If it helps them deal with their life, fine. Christianity, Judaism, Quakerism, Buddhism, Baihaism, Hinduism, Confucianism, Islam, and other faiths help their believers deal with life and it's great mysteries. As they say, "Different strokes for different folks." I say more power to those who have a belief system that works for them - as long as they don't try to impose that system on others by any means except gentle persuasion. Vicious criticisms of other faiths is prima facie evidence of a lack of confidence in one's own faith.
