Comments: I can't wait until Granny, on her death bed, marries her favorite granddaughter,

Nah. It's for love. They had signs that say so.

Oh sure, room mates marrying, partners in business marrying, brothers marrying, etc.

Grandma granddaughter won't work unless you get SCOTUS to overrule the ban on consanguineous marriages.

As I posted in FB in response to Chief Justice Roberts scathing dissent, especially his warning that this will lead to polygamy, just wait until it does and then 20 people (or more) want to get married to each other for the tax scams they can pull.

Heck, why not have whole towns all marry one another?

I'm writing all this down so that twenty years from now, when all or most of it has happened, I can say, "Twenty years ago they were ridiculing this."

Oh, there'll be a consanguinity lawsuit more or less right alongside the polygamy lawsuits, don't worry about that.

Polygamy and elimination of all miscegenation laws, including those against consanguinity -- I say, Bring It On. Now. Hell, add in bestiality if you like. What a person does in the privacy of their own bedroom or barn is none of the government's business. If there's one thing I hate more than immoral laws, it is hypocritical ones. The sooner we get consistency in the "marriage" (whatever that means in this context) laws, the better. Then I can go find some gay bakery and force them to bake a cake for me, my three wives, and my goat.

A fish stinks from the head. The courts now all believe that their role is to ensure the will of Congress is carried out, the Liberty of the people be damned.

The will of Congress is that the kids are not allowed to inherit, and all fortunes must be confiscated outright or transferred to perpetual progressive-enabling foundations. The power to tax is the power to compel those unwilling to resist, and destroy those that attempt to thwart or evade the sovereign will of Congress.

So no, granny will never be allowed to marry grandkids, to keep the wealth in the family, in a perpetual line marriage aristocracy. The Courts will simply declare that the sacrament of same-sex marriage and the now-secured right to decide one's identity and intimacy must give way. Cross-generational surviving spouses are not for tax purposes. Spouse only means spouse when the Courts and Congress allow it. Because of course, there are no absolute rights, except of course the sacred right of women to kill their babies at any time in the Sacrament of Abortion. On the other hand, the power to tax is now absolute: you must pay the tax, or behave as Congress compels, or be destroyed. Roberts the Catholic has brought the jizya to America.

Who knew? The Rights granted to us by the Creator, can now only be enjoyed with the sufferance of Congress. All is forbidden but that which is allowed.

We have been deceived and betrayed, and our betrayal is complete.
