Comments: understanding Trump’s campaign

The other candidates have been bought and paid for by the corporations that want the cheap labor provided by the illegals. the unions want the dues and the ability to squash and dissent.

If any of the spineless Senators were going to so something, they would have done it by now. The hope is Trump will embarrass them in front of the public so the questions cause them to fumble, mumble and stumble.

Great theater!

I never cared for reality television until Trump started his Presidential campaign. It has been fun to watch reporters and candidates alike squirm and dirty their panties when he confronts them. If he does nothing more than thin out the herd and bring some truths to bear that wouldn't have been done without him then he will have helped the GOP. We certainly do not need any more pukes like Dole, McCain or Romney forced on us. maybe it's time we have a good knife fight to toughen us up before we get into the ring with people who are so demented that they slaughter babies and sell off their parts, kill off job markets and stick a knife in basic health care.

"Trump’s not a builder. He’s an opportunist

...The opportunities he is exploiting are immigration, the media culture, discontent with the Republican establishment and widespread angst about the culture and economy.

...That makes the conventional political attack ineffective because he is so good as brushing it off and re-focusing on his next opportunity. When he gets grief for being mean to McCain, he brushes it off and takes a shot at Caitlyn Graham. When the press howls about that, he points out that Rick Perry has a two-digit IQ.

---

An opportunitst.

Yes.

Also a Hypocrite.

Make a mistake, move on. Infact, double down on someone elses flaws to turn the negative attention elsewhere. With people only listening with divided attention to the politicians, this tactic is quite effective.

I've always wondered how people could deflect their hypocrisy with a deflection or an attack and now I understand:

An Opportunist playing fast and loose.

Thanks Zman.

PS: The Opportunist/Hypocrite critter IS the leftist - especially with them having the power of invisibility from their 'Press-cious' (h/t A. Klavan)

In Trump's favor, he isn't seeking money, power, and fame like all the other politicians.

He already has all that stuff.

But I will never vote for him, or anyone else.

Can the U.S. governing elite not know how deeply it’s hated?
Trump does.
