Comments: By day, Dad fixes stuff. He's a fitter and turner by trade.

Dad is a dinosaur, becoming extinct everyday in this 30 second microwaved throw away market driven social network society.

"My father gets up every morning at 4.30, to start work at 6am....He’s a good man, and thorough... he said, "every morning I get up, I have my shower and my toast and coffee, and I think about all the things I've got to do. The problems I've got to deal with. I think about how I'm going to fix them. I plan my day around all that. "

Old School. Yes.

Its nice to crib things every so often. Tells me I'm on the right track. Sometimes to go forward, you need to go back.

"gets up every morning at 4.30, to start work at 6am"

Hmmm... so true.

"If you wake up after the dawn, you might as well go back to bed, because you missed the day."

(From my Stepdad Ray - Farmboy from Herman Minnesota. Sadly the glare from this truth is very "bright". "Painful" even.) :(
