It is not possible to reason with someone that believes cops (good guys) should not have guns to use against bad guys.
More than likely she is just an intellectually challenged god damned liar.
Confronted by 4 oversized sawbucks with tools in hand, she would gladly welcome any savior with a gun.
It's a crying shame that people today are so lazy that they cannot invest the time in thinking about horrifying things that might happen, based on the probability and reality of things that have already happened to many others, as the author of this article has demonstrated.

The idiot writer at Addicting Info cites Mother Jones as an authority for her claim for the uselessness of armed civilian resistance to shooters. Mother Jones, of course, is one of those far left magazines that thinks a Better World can be achieved by disarming ordinary Americans and arming Communists.

While it was displayed in that train incident that unarmed people can defeat an armed assailant, it is not common and it was only through good fortune that they succeeded.
if any of the good guys had a machete the result would have been different: faster and making the perp dead;
if any of the three good guys had a firearm, or if anyone else on the train had one the result would have been very fast and very final;
Allowing anybody to have and carry any weapon anytime and anywhere will not make the bad guys any more dangerous than they now are. They already do it.
It will make the law-abiding citizens safer and more able to stop violent actions such as this train incident.
It would take about ninety days for all the idiots and hotheads to shoot each other out of the game. From then on it would be a safe and content world.

A higher body count? Heck yeah! If Moogalian or Spencer or Norman had been packing heat, the body count would quickly have risen to one, the terrorist. Good job was done, but those first responders been armed, a better job would have been done.
