One of the few smart changes I made to the plans of the house I had built in 1977, and still occupy, was to delete the fireplace. Never regretted it.

a local lignetics artisan, having provided a quantity to part time residents of a snooty development was called back due to a complaint - the log ends bore marks of the saw.

artisan was commissioned to finish the ends to furniture standards, by rasp, sandpaper and scraper.

some folks have too much money.

Satire has become almost impossible these days. The brain views this and assumes it must be farce, but then it scrolls through all those similarly ludicrous stories from hipster heaven and it's hard to escape the notion that there are definitely clowns out there who would find this charmingly irresistible.
