Happiness is within, not without. Hard to believe but a beggar in Calcutta is fully capable of as much happiness as a Prince in Bombay. We are prisoners of our expectations and attitudes. Some people though they have material comfort in spades are miserable.

Which reminds me of the most unhappy people I see these days - the shoppers at Whole Foods and other such Hippy stores. I smile at them and they either turn away or respond with a surly look. What sour pusses they are. Life is too short to be a sour puss.
