I've never understood why this book isn't discussed more. I think it is much better than The 5000 Year Leap.

Yet for all her appreciation and explication of that which is stunningly obvious, and therefore inaccessible to many; her curious adulation of the saracens (understood to be muslim) remains an enigma.

Perhaps she met one, at one time and finding same not to be as expected - an unwashed, vile rapist/pedophile/murderer, as decreed by MoHamHead, decided they all must be good. Who knows.
