really? conservative principles don't seem to doing well these days. Perhaps they need to be more heavily armed.

Objectively, Tom at his best was a useful asshole. Burke thought so (minus the useful), and most of the Founders. Read that line again and think of Saul Alinsky, because it's the principles of Marx that are penetrating and the principles of The Enlightenment that are shrinking.

"That woman" said something about all words can be used both ways. One way to mean what they say and the other that means the opposite. It is up to the observer to determine what the reality is.
