If I wanted to make really black bread, I would use rye flour with ground dried spinach and/or kale, and black dye.

It has been reported that when Robert Downey, Jr. was doing drugs, he stopped off for something to eat at a Burger King. He said that the stuff he ate was so nasty that he decided to kick drugs and clean himself up.
Like nearly everyone else I've eaten a bit of fast food now and then but one visit to the BK cured me of eating any FF at all and, while that's just my take on the stuff, I simply cannot imagine anyone eating a black bread h'burger from any place, especially from BK.
The shit is just nasty.

Since moving to the woods 9 years ago our "eating out" has dropped off to almost nothing. The last time we ate at a commercial enterprise was about 2 months ago at a Steak n Shake and while the food and service were acceptable they were not remarkable, and never anything I would do with any sort of regularity. For the cost of 2 of their
meals we could eat here at the house for several days.
