Real Estate? You have got to be kidding. Edison, Carnegie, Watson, Jobs, those are quintessentially American success stories. Real estate is all about local politics and comes with an odor of corruption. Success story, maybe, but of a quintessentially blue state urban variety.

Building permits, property acquisition, tax dispensations, etc. That's the odor of corruption I refer too. I don't like it and it isn't something I'd celebrate as quintessentially American. YMMV.

I think Trump is a liar and a fraud and a Democrat in threadbare Republican garb, but this appears to apply to all politicians (at least, the first two do) so maybe it's irrelevant.
