Eulogy for David Bowie: 1947-2016

Dood never made a red centavo off'n my ass.
But I do remember a punk in AIT playing Rebel Rebel over and over and over at Ft Leonard Wood in the summer of 1974 with that snazzy guitar hook right up front.

Love him as Tesla in "The Prestige."

He lived life to it's fullest, on his terms and whims. It must have been exhausting. One of a kind.

4- For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

5- For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Saw him live in '73, '74 and '76... a fantastic entertainer, innovator and - from what I gather - a genuinely nice human being. RIP , my wife and I regret we didn't see him perform in the mid-90s, as well.
