"Ahem" on The Trump Perplex

The really scary thing is....they said the same stuff before youknowwho in Germany. Hey maybe Trump is the antichrist.

Nowhere is it written that someone who has a gift for inspiring people must only necessarily be evil. Where do field generals come from? Where do heroes come from? And have we drifted so far down the relativist rabbit hole that we no longer believe in the existence of virtue or the possibility of nobler motives?

Hitler was a fuck-up, failed artist, and disaffected soldier. His country had just been in the worst war in history and was being relentlessly punished by the rest of Europe for having started the thing in the first place.

Mr Trump is no fuck-up: look at everything he's accomplished. Just one of those achievements would be enough for most people. I've worked with self-made millionaires during my career, and they're distinguished by tireless energy and an attitude that all obstacles are meant to be overcome.

One thing in his favor is that everybody feels like they know him from his many interviews and appearances on television. He has had a respectable life, most of it in the public eye.

Look at Trump's kids and their families---no druggies or trust fund brats. They're married; they're not professional students or leftists or on the dole; they go to work every day from 9-5. Except for the publicity, his personal life seems little different from that of the average American executive.

We know he lacks humility, is foul-mouthed, tricky, and a bit of a blowhard. The worst thing that's going to happen is that he turns out to be human, like the rest of us. The best thing may be a more positive response to some of the challenges we currently face. At least I'll feel that a guy that loves America is at the helm.

We already have a war and a Depression coming, having nothing whatever to do with Trump. Is there some way I'm not aware of in which we're not already almost completely fucked?

After getting called names for not being sufficiently pro Cruz, I think a lot of political "conservative" bloggers will find their audience moving elsewhere. I thought that the SJWs were supposed to be the reason we can't talk about politics in public. Turns out we aren't allowed to be part of the discussion if not supporting their candidate.

And no one seems to want to tell me how Cruz is the anti-establishment candidate if he got a 5 million dollar loan from Goldman Sachs.

Best explanation I've read anywhere for Trump's appeal and his support. Next Tuesday the People's Republic has it's primary and I was either voting for Trump or Cruz, now I think I've made up my mind; for Trump.

There's an old movie with Jack Lemon "How to murder your wife"; in his plea to the jury (all male...it's the fifties) his character tells the men, "Acquit me, not for my sake, but for your's!". As one juror sub-vocalizes "It will scare the hell out of Edna!". OK, lets scare the Hell out of Edna!.

One more time.

The political filth and their corporate media whores have no idea how deeply they are despised and distrusted.

If nothing else, it is a bitchin poster.

An understandable reaction ... but still deeply stupid.

Cruz and Trump. Cruz is honest enough for a Senator and a constant thorn in the side of the Enemy. Trump is a household name and drawing big crowds with star power.
This is the US, not some intellectual swamp. Trump trumps even the eared one when it comes to dominating the stage as he riffs in sound bites. Short bites. What it takes to win, and he can do stuff.
The job is blowing up Washington. Whoever does this will leave office as a hated man, by the populace at large. So many citizens depend on handouts that it can be no other way. Let Trump be the Executive and let Cruz burrow deep in the SCOTUS chair. When Trump is driven from office by mobs of malcontents Cruz will remain to annoy for decades.

I get the pissed off meme, the GOP sellouts, the political correct cancer. I get it all but handing the keys to a lifelong liberal crony crapitolist who bankrolled Democrat a**holes doesn't seem much of a solution. Maybe we're already done and I might as well go suck the exhaust pipe.

I was thinking along those lines as well; that's the only reason I'm considering giving him a shot.

Actually, I'm thinking of moving somewhere where it's too cold for Muslims, and I can support myself by making moonshine. With any luck, I'll have no phone or internet access, and I can grow kale and pole beans and watch the squirrels and the birds and wait for the big mushroom cloud, dreaming of what might have been.

I can live with Trump, but I would rather have Cruz. Trump will appoint moderates to the bench, and the last thing we need is more moderates or liberals.

If I didn't see such crises approaching from every direction, I would insist on a candidate that I could count on to repair the judiciary rather than wanting a candidate just because he can win easily.

18th century style bayonet on a mini-gun. Nice touch. Maybe more than that.

It seems to me that the "Lefties"are in a panic because Trump is leading the way.Why is this so?Because he is not"Of the Establishment"This is the time to clean out the"Career Politicians"and bring in people who have the USA's interests at heart.Cruz,Rubio,Clinton and Sharpton(Did you know he's a Commie)don't have your interest at heart. They are there to help themselves, not you.

lived in NYC 1970's-90's, observing Trump's almost daily antics from short range. Still not completely certain what he's up - or down - to with his latest project. One thing for sure: he's aroused all the right enemies: Progs+Cucks. Now he makes noises about jailing Hiligula and going after the Debt Bomber, aka the Fed. Sounds good...but he'd better have his own private security watching the .gov-assigned Secret Service. Very closely

Trump is leading a Movement. It could have been Cruz but he was dependent on donors and did not get out in front of the immigration debate quickly enough.
