Kutusov (featured in the article) was the Russian 19th Century Patton. Except his Pattoness was short when he went up against Napoleon, who out-Napoleoned him like a boss. He was the best they ever had, and is just that short of real glory.
The Russians cannot point to any great captain of military history. Furthermore, they suck at general warfare. Don't get me started on their armor.
In spite of all this, I did bring home from Russia an expensive lead toy soldier of the Russian Patton. I collect such, and he was all you could look to for a "good general" in Russia.
Also, speaking of spite, the author is correct that Putin is out-Machiavelli-ing Obammy. But, then again, how hard is that to do? And the libs persist in loving Barry the not-so-brilliant.
